How much does a session cost?

Individual session: $150 per 50-minute session.

Couples sessions: $200 per 50-minute session.

Coaching: $120 per 50-minute session.

Do you have a sliding fee scale?

I highly value making quality therapy accesible to all. In order to do this, I have contracted with Open Path. Open Path Psychotherapy Collective provides middle and lower-income level individuals, couples, families, and children with access to affordable psychotherapy. I reserve dedicated space on my caseload for Open Path clients.

Do you take insurance?

I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Blue Choice insurance plans, and can work with many other plans as an out-of-network provider. The coverage for session fees depends on a client’s specific insurance.

If you receive any Out of Network (OON) benefits from your insurance coverage, I can offer a receipt with appropriate details for you to request reimbursement from your insurance carrier if applicable.

I accept payment via cash, check, debit or credit card at the end of each session.

*There is an additional fee for missed appointments or cancellation with less than 24 hours notice.

How can I check what insurance might cover?

Navigating insurance can be tricky:

If you would like to check your benefits, the following questions will be helpful to ask your insurance provider:

What are my mental health benefits for outpatient psychotherapy in an office setting (insurance codes 90791 for initial assessments and 90837 for on-going therapy sessions)?

What is my annual deductible for health care (including mental health) and how much has been met?

Is there a co-pay or co-insurance amount I need to cover per session?

Are there any restrictions in terms of diagnosis covered or number of yearly sessions allowed?
